香港學思達翻轉報告(10月11日)

今早先到Wan Chi Ho國中一年級的數學班,也是我中史班的同學仔,逗留短短二十分鐘,我就發現平日上課看見的情境,確實似曾相識,所以學生的學習模樣就是不變,要變的是老師如何面對,未來我要更多善用自學時間,個別跟進一些同學,好讓學習更有果效。接著再到ManChi Tse國中一年級的物理課,我依然很用心學習,老師設計的問題亦很有條理,我完全可以跟得上,只是到一個令我困惑的地方,便舉手向老師提問,然後老師提出另一個概念,也是較深的課題,若不是我提出,他應該不會交代。從前的課堂,老師都希望同學吸收既定的知識,若再有進一步的提問,可能都不太想即時處理。現在不同了,我們希望學生主動發問,老師的應變能力是十分關鍵,而Mr. Tse主持課堂的答問都處理得揮灑自如!課後,因著老師今天談及的「Matter」,我立即想起多年前正生書院在島上有一塊大石,希望使用最便宜的方法令大石消失,從而釋出空間讓同學活動。我就把這個難題交給Mr. Tse,結果我們以Whatsapp傾了差不多半小時,過程中我一問、他一答,終於講出答案了,然後我再問他,我應該如何提問才能有效引導,這就是老師要鍛鍊的提問及引導能力。至於如何處理大石?愚公燒石也!下午,我有機會跟之前來觀課的老師交流,她是我的中學老師,傾談之間就學思達的預備及實踐有很深入的交流。令她最深的感受是這個方法最適合教導自己的子女,我的回答是:對呀!我也希望自己不久的將來可以這樣跟小劉華溝通,若不是課堂,更可以做到堅持不邁答案吧!其實,今天我跟Mr. Tse討論的難題只不過用了半小時,我很享受期間的互動,更開心是討論的內容是物理,不是中史哦!晚上,有一位本地國際學校的老師私訊給我,表示之前參加學思達工作坊,現有幾位同事開始試行,期間遇上不少問題,希望可以前來觀課再作交流,我立即答應他,並有Tompson Lee都會開放哦!我都一再強調不是說我們已經解決所有問題,而是我們不去迥避問題,希望透過同工之間無私的開放、交流,嘗試面對教學現場的不同問題,相信老師、學生都會一天比一天進步!
